EMERGENCY PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework requires all early years providers in England to have at least one person who has a current & full paediatric first aid certificate on the premises & available at all times. It is the responsibility of the provider to risk assess their ratios of children & staff, as well as considering the layout of their premises & increasing their paediatric first aid provision accordingly to ensure there is a paediatric first aider available to respond promptly to any first aid emergencies.
